Jenn is part of a multicultural American family from the mid-Atlantic states and Central America. She grew up curious about culture and language. She attended Smith College, majoring in cultural anthropology with a focus on Latin America, and studied abroad in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, through Brown University. She loves music and performed classical flute through college and later in small ensembles in the Hudson Valley. In recent years, she joined the WordxWord poetry group in the Berkshires and earned second place in her first poetry slam.
Jenn makes her home in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts with her partner, two children, and Cookie, the family dog. They love to ski, swim, solve riddles, play games, watch movies, and enjoy dessert.
